SKPD21 is a 150 GSM knitted ESD fabric made from 97% polyester and 3% conductive carbon fiber. The conductive yarn is arranged in a 5mm rhombus pattern, providing a specified surface resistivity of 10⁶–10⁹ Ω for electrostatic-control garment applications.
Designed for the manufacture of ESD workwear and cleanroom garments, SKPD21 uses a knitted and tricot construction with 75D × 72F yarn specifications. Its 150 GSM nominal weight provides a mid-to-high weight option within the SKPD knitted ESD fabric series.
SKPD21 is suitable for electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, cleanroom laboratories and other environments where electrostatic charge control is required.

What Is 5mm Rhombus Knitted ESD Fabric?
ESD fabric integrates conductive fibers into the textile structure to help dissipate electrostatic charge.
SKPD21 combines polyester yarn with conductive carbon fiber arranged in a 5mm rhombus configuration. The conductive yarn forms a network through the fabric that provides a path for electrostatic charge dissipation when the finished garment is used correctly as part of an appropriate ESD control system.
Unlike ordinary polyester fabric, SKPD21 is specifically designed for static-control garment applications.
Its knitted and tricot construction also distinguishes it from conventional woven ESD fabrics with grid or stripe conductive patterns.

5mm Rhombus vs. 5mm Grid ESD Fabric
Although both fabrics may use a nominal 5mm conductive spacing, a 5mm rhombus ESD fabric and a 5mm grid ESD fabric are not the same textile construction.
