Dual-Channel ESD Wrist Strap Continuous Monitor
SKU :
The SK-905 is a dual-channel ESD wrist strap continuous monitor designed for use at electronics assembly workstations. It monitors two wrist strap grounding channels in real time and alerts operators when a grounding connection is interrupted or falls outside the specified operating condition.
Its compact enclosure requires minimal bench space. During normal operation, the monitor works quietly; when a fault is detected, it provides an automatic alarm so that the operator can inspect the wrist strap, coil cord and grounding connection.
Specification and Data
The SK-905 Dual-Channel ESD Wrist Strap Continuous Monitor is designed to help operators maintain a reliable grounding connection while working with electrostatic-discharge-sensitive components.
Unlike a standard wrist strap tester that performs a single test before an operator enters an ESD-protected area, the SK-905 monitors the wrist strap grounding circuit continuously during operation. If a wrist strap is disconnected, a coil cord becomes damaged or the grounding path exceeds the specified operating condition, the monitor provides a fault indication so that corrective action can be taken promptly.
With two independent monitoring channels, the SK-905 can support two operator positions at the same workstation or production area. Its compact enclosure takes up minimal bench space and is suitable for PCB assembly, SMT production, semiconductor handling, electronics repair and other ESD-controlled applications.

How the Dual-Channel Wrist Strap Monitor Works
Connect the monitor to the designated ESD grounding point and power supply. Each operator connects a compatible wrist strap cord to one monitoring channel. The monitor then checks the grounding circuit continuously during operation.
Under normal conditions, the corresponding channel indicates a pass status. If the wrist strap is disconnected, the cord is damaged or the grounding path exceeds the specified limit, the monitor activates a fault indication so that corrective action can be taken.
