ESD 2-Ring Binder
SKU :
ESD 2-ring binder is designed for organizing work instructions, inspection records, technical drawings and production documents in electrostatic protected areas.
Its black cover is made from controlled-resistance polypropylene with a specified surface resistance of 10⁵–10⁹ Ω. Compared with conventional insulating plastic binders, the material helps reduce uncontrolled electrostatic charge accumulation around sensitive electronic devices and assemblies.
The two-ring metal mechanism keeps frequently used documents securely organized, while the wide spine and finger hole make the binder easy to identify, retrieve and handle at EPA workstations.

What Is an ESD Ring Binder?
An ESD ring binder is a controlled-resistance document organizer intended for use in electrostatic protected areas.
Ordinary plastic binders may behave as uncontrolled insulators and accumulate electrostatic charge through handling, friction and contact separation. A static-dissipative binder helps reduce this risk when it is used as part of a complete ESD control program.
The binder does not replace personnel grounding, ESD work surfaces, conductive flooring or other grounding and verification measures required by the facility.
Applications
The ESD 2-ring binder can be used for organizing:
- Work instructions at EPA workstations
- Standard operating procedures
- Production process documents
- Quality-control records
- Inspection checklists
- Technical drawings and schematics
- Equipment maintenance records
- Component handling instructions
- PCB assembly documentation
- Semiconductor production records
- Training documents in electronics manufacturing areas
