ESD Gloves
SKESD supplies ESD gloves and anti-static gloves for electronics assembly, PCB handling, SMT production, inspection and other static-sensitive manufacturing applications.
Our product range includes conductive carbon-fiber gloves, antistatic-treated polyester gloves, PU fingertip-coated gloves, PU palm-coated gloves, uncoated gloves and PVC-dot grip gloves.
Different models use different static-control structures and grip configurations. Select the appropriate glove according to the required ESD performance, liner material, coating coverage, grip requirement and cleanliness specifications of your production process.
For cleanroom or contamination-controlled applications, please provide the required particle, linting, processing and packaging specifications for confirmation.

What Are ESD Gloves?
ESD gloves, also commonly referred to as anti-static gloves, are used to support electrostatic-control procedures when handling static-sensitive components such as PCBs, semiconductors, connectors, sensors and precision electronic assemblies.
Depending on the model, static-control performance may be provided by conductive carbon fiber incorporated into the knitted liner or by an antistatic treatment applied to a polyester glove.
ESD gloves can help reduce direct skin contact with handled components while supporting static-control procedures during assembly, inspection, packaging and other production operations.
ESD gloves are intended for electrostatic control.
They are not electrical insulating gloves and should not be used for protection against electrical shock.
Conductive Carbon Fiber vs Antistatic-Treated ESD Gloves
SKESD supplies ESD gloves using different static-control constructions.
Conductive Carbon Fiber ESD Gloves
Conductive carbon fiber is incorporated into the knitted liner.
Confirmed models using conductive carbon-fiber construction include:
- SK-401
- SK-401A
- SK-401C
- SK-407
- SK-408
- SK-409
The conductive fiber forms part of the glove’s knitted structure.
Antistatic-Treated Polyester Gloves
Selected polyester gloves receive an antistatic treatment to provide static-control performance.
Confirmed examples include:
- SK-403
- SK-403A
- SK-405
- SK-406
For SK-406, the ESD version receives an antistatic solution dipping treatment and provides a specified surface resistance of 10⁶–10⁹ Ω. An untreated version is also available.
Always check the individual product specification when selecting a glove for a defined electrical requirement.
FAQ
What is the difference between ESD gloves and anti-static gloves?
The terms are often used interchangeably in the market.
For technical purchasing, the important factors are the glove’s actual static-control construction, electrical specification and test requirements rather than the product name alone.
Are all ESD gloves made with carbon fiber?
No.
Some SKESD models use conductive carbon fiber incorporated into the knitted liner, while selected polyester models obtain static-control performance through antistatic treatment.
Check the specification of the individual model.
What is the difference between fingertip-coated and palm-coated ESD gloves?
Fingertip-coated gloves apply PU coating primarily to the fingertip contact areas.
Palm-coated gloves provide broader coating across the palm-side handling surface.
Choose according to the required grip coverage.
Are ESD gloves electrical insulating gloves?
No.
ESD gloves are intended for static-control applications and should not be used as electrical insulating gloves for protection against electrical shock.
Can I order ESD gloves with OEM packaging?
OEM and private-label packaging requirements can be reviewed for volume orders.
Provide the required model, quantity, size distribution, packaging details and destination country when requesting a quotation.
