ESD Brushes & Anti-Static Cleaning Brushes
ESD brushes are an effective cleaning solution for electronics, semiconductors, PCBs, LCDs, SMT production, and other static-sensitive applications.
These anti-static brushes help remove dust, dirt, and debris safely without creating harmful static charges. Made with conductive plastic handles and static-safe synthetic fibers, they provide a surface resistivity range of 10⁵ to 10¹⁰ ohms. Available in multiple sizes and styles, designed for use as part of an ESD control program in static-sensitive work environments.
Electronic components are prone to accumulate dust and debris during use. If they are not cleaned for a long time, it will affect our experience and cause certain damage to the product itself. However, how to clean the sensitive components on the circuit board is a problem we often face. ESD brushes are designed with conductive or static-dissipative materials to help minimize electrostatic charge buildup during cleaning of static-sensitive components.
What is an ESD brush?
Anti-static brushes typically have conductive nylon bristles and black polypropylene handles. The conductive bristles minimize static electricity during cleaning, and the black static dissipative polypropylene handle conducts the charge to the ground.
Esd Brush Series
SKESD currently offers five series of ESD brushes, and will develop more series of products based on customer needs.

ESD Brush vs Regular Brush
| Feature | ESD Brush | Regular Brush |
|---|---|---|
| Material | Conductive/Dissipative | Insulative (Plastic, Wood) |
| Bristles | ESD nylon | Nylon, polyester, boar hair |
| Static Control | Yes (prevents ESD) | No (can generate static) |
| Use Case | Electronics, cleanrooms | Household, general cleaning |
| Cost | Higher | Lower |
| Durability | High | Medium to Low |
How to Choose an ESD Brush
| Selection Factor | What to Consider |
|---|---|
| Bristle Resistance | Match the ESD control requirements of your application |
| Handle Resistance | Confirm conductive or dissipative handle performance |
| Bristle Material | Nylon, conductive fiber or other verified material |
| Bristle Stiffness | Soft for delicate surfaces; firmer for debris removal |
| Brush Shape | Flat, round, narrow or long-handle |
| Brush Size | Match component dimensions and cleaning area |
| Cleaning Agent Compatibility | Confirm compatibility if used with IPA or solvents |
| Grounding Conditions | Follow your facility’s ESD control procedures |
