Cleanroom swabs are special tools used for precision cleaning in cleanroom environments. They are designed and manufactured to meet stringent low-contamination and anti-static requirements.
Cleanroom swabs are commonly made of the following three materials.
1.Foam material: Double-layer polyurethane foam (100 PPI) has high absorbency and cleaning efficiency, suitable for removing contaminants from the surface of precision instruments.
2.Polyester fiber: Continuous filament or knitted polyester is used, with high cleanliness and strong stability, especially suitable for anti-static (ESD) handles to reduce static electricity risks.
3.Microfiber composite material: Combining the advantages of foam and microfiber, it can efficiently absorb liquid or dry particulate contaminants.
1.Cleanroom Polyester Swabs
Cleanroom Polyester Swabs the head cloth is longitudinal-grain, with deep gaps that allow for more dirt. The cloth is strong and wear-resistant, and can be cleaned of things that need to be cleaned vigorously, such as a smooth screen.
The amount of dust emitted from the extreme bottom of nonvolatile residues far below the standard.
Not easy to wear out: no pollution of the product adhesives, excellent resistance to chemical solvents.
Properties: resistant to alcohol, formaldehyde, oil and other solvents, wear-resistant, soft and decontamination ability.
Polyester Swab Features:
Swabs: polyester head with polypropylene handle.
Sterizilation:cloth swab can via EO(high pressure) steriailation ,the temperature can reach 121℃(degree centigrade),Better to last 30 minutes .The temperature is rising slowly,so no change for the swab,won’t produce any damage.
The cloth swabs can be used together with alcohol、 acetone 、IPA 、lubricating oil and other solvent.

3.Cleanroom Microfiber Swabs

Cleaning performance of micro fiber fabrics with the scratch free properties of foam for Optics, HDD, Semiconductor and Biomedical
applications.
Cleanroom Microfiber Swabs also employ a static dissipative handle for ESD sensitiveapplications.
