5mm Grid TC ESD Fabric – SKTC01
SKU :
SKTC01 is a 130 GSM woven TC ESD fabric made from 64% polyester, 34% cotton and 2% conductive carbon fiber. The conductive yarn is arranged in a 5mm grid pattern within a plain-weave polyester-cotton construction, providing a specified surface resistivity of 10⁶–10⁹ Ω.
Designed primarily for ESD workwear, antistatic uniforms and cleanroom garments, SKTC01 combines a polyester-cotton blended textile structure with an integrated conductive carbon network for electrostatic charge control.
The 5mm conductive grid makes SKTC01 a suitable option for garment manufacturers looking for a TC antistatic fabric rather than a high-polyester ESD textile.

What Is TC ESD Fabric?
TC fabric is a polyester-cotton blended textile. In ESD applications, conductive yarn is incorporated into the fabric structure to help control electrostatic charge.
SKTC01 combines polyester, cotton and conductive carbon fiber in a plain-weave construction. The carbon yarn forms a repeating 5mm grid, creating a conductive network throughout the fabric.
When the material is incorporated into a properly designed ESD garment and used as part of an appropriate ESD control system, the conductive yarn provides a path for electrostatic charge dissipation.
Unlike high-polyester ESD fabrics, SKTC01 includes a significant cotton content and is designed as a TC antistatic workwear fabric.
TC ESD Fabric for Antistatic Workwear
SKTC01 is primarily intended for manufacturing ESD workwear and industrial antistatic garments.
Typical applications include:
- ESD work jackets
- Antistatic uniforms
- ESD coats
- ESD trousers
- ESD coveralls
- Electronics production workwear
- Industrial antistatic garments
- Cleanroom workwear
- Pharmaceutical production garments
Typical working environments include electronics factories, production workshops, pharmaceutical facilities, laboratories and other areas where electrostatic charge control is required.

TC ESD Fabric vs. Polyester ESD Fabric
TC ESD fabric and polyester ESD fabric differ primarily in fiber composition and textile construction.
SKTC01 contains 34% cotton, while many polyester ESD fabrics use a much higher polyester percentage.
This difference in material composition means they should not be treated as interchangeable products solely because both contain conductive carbon yarn.
When selecting between TC and polyester ESD fabrics, consider:
- Required garment construction
- Fiber composition
- Fabric weight
- Conductive pattern
- Cleanroom classification
- Electrical specifications
- Laundering requirements
- End-use environment
If you are unsure which construction is suitable, send us your garment type, required weight, color, quantity and technical requirements for product selection assistance.

SKTC01 vs. SKTC11 TC ESD Fabric
SKESD also supplies TC ESD fabrics with different conductive yarn patterns and fabric weights.
| Feature | SKTC01 | SKTC11 |
|---|---|---|
| Material | 64% Polyester + 34% Cotton + 2% Carbon Fiber | 64% Polyester + 35% Cotton + 1% Carbon Fiber |
| Conductive Pattern | 5mm Grid | 10mm Stripe |
| Plain Weave | Plain Weave | Plain Weave |
| Fabric Weight | 130 GSM | 155 GSM |
| Surface Resistivity | 10⁶–10⁹ Ω | 10⁶–10⁹ Ω |
| Recommended Cleanroom Class | ISO 8–9 | ISO 8–9 |
Both are polyester-cotton ESD fabrics, but they provide different conductive configurations, carbon fiber ratios and fabric weights.
The appropriate model should be selected according to garment design and technical requirements.
