Esd Training Program

This training aims to enable students to have the following core capabilities through the construction of a systematic knowledge system and the strengthening of practical skills: theoretical system construction.
1.Training Objectives
This training aims to equip participants with the following core competencies through systematic knowledge development and practical skills enhancement:
Theoretical Development: Master the mechanisms of static electricity generation, the basic principles of ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection, and failure mode analysis methods, understanding the entire process from static electricity accumulation to discharge.
Problem-solving Skills: Be able to apply ESD theory to analyze abnormal static electricity events on production lines and develop targeted solutions, such as reducing static electricity generation through environmental humidity control (relative humidity ≥ 45%).
Technical Tool Application: Be proficient in operating equipment such as static field testers and wrist strap testers, and master the selection and verification methods of anti-static materials (such as conductive flooring and ionizing blowers).
Management System Development: Utilize the PDCA cycle to promote the implementation of the company’s ESD system, including risk assessment, implementation of protective measures, and continuous improvement.
Standards Compliance: Be proficient in international standards such as ANSI/ESD S20.20 and IEC 61340-5-1, and be able to conduct internal audits and prepare for third-party certification in accordance with these standards.
